I cannot provide any information about the restaurant directly, but the snack right next to it is a very clear recommendation. Just before sunset, grab a fish sandwich and then hit the beach, perfect. Friendly service, there are fish rolls, where not only a piece of fish is stuck in the roll, but also onions, salad and tartar sauce. Also the smoked fish - choice and taste - very good. The salmon and butter mackerel skewers are particularly tasty.

Really great restaurant, we arrived there at 7:50 pm and asked for a table for 4 people, which we also got, with the note that the cook actually closes at 8 p.m., but we are still being served. The food came quickly, homemade aspic with fried potatoes, a salmon dish, a children's dish with fried egg and mashed potatoes and a schnitzel dish. All of them prepared very tasty and served nicely. Very friendly staff and reasonable prices. Highly recommended.

Catfish sliced ​​gyros style, great idea and delicious. The catfish can do that with itself, supi. The home pan with cod and pikeperch fillet is also excellent. As a delicacy there was 36h. Cold smoked salmon .. really fantastic ... right at the Fischbüdchen outside, where there are great fish rolls, a piece of cold smoked salmon with you. Ate there 3 times in 7 days and never regretted it. This is how I imagine eating honest fish on the Baltic Sea. If I come to Rügen again, I'll come back here that is out of the question.

We have now been to Thiessow for the third time and the fish sandwiches have always been very tasty. Therefor actually 5 asterisks. We have now visited the restaurant twice and are not convinced of the price-performance ratio. The ambience looks like a snack (not appropriate for the price of the food) and stale, but 1 star deduction. I had the fish platter with cod, pikeperch, and fried potatoes. The taste was well coordinated, but unfortunately the pikeperch was very dry and the fried potatoes sloppy. My companion had a dish with butter carrots. Unfortunately, these came from the freezer. For the shortcomings in the food in the restaurant, I deduct another star.

We have been at the Thiessow campsite for a few days and were looking for a restaurant to eat fish. Via Google search we discovered this restaurant, 1.9 km from the campsite by bike. I reserved a table by phone, which was a good thing, because the rush was great when the restaurant opened at 5:30 pm. The service was very nice, friendly and attentive. We ordered the homemade cucumber salad and the “house specialty”, the hornfish with mashed potatoes. Everything freshly and very delicately prepared, with a glass of wine, we were enthusiastic, full, happy and satisfied. The inn room is quaint, rustic, that's how we love it. From us, a couple from Schleswig-Holstein, a clear recommendation and price-performance ratio completely okay 👌🏻 Gladly again!

Short excursion by bike from Gager. Reservation is recommended by me and of course the restaurant too. Will definitely come again ... Today we had delicious garfish fillet, herring, saithe and potato soup with laxhs.

It was my first time to eat hornfish and had no idea what to expect. The braid was fried until crispy and, despite the darker meat parts, it was not dry (as I said, I have no idea what it should look like). Our drinks came quickly, although all tables had changed at once. And know what that means. The waitresses were friendly and attentive.

Delicious. Fish lovers are guaranteed to get a taste of it here. The fish doesn't get fresher. Large menu, of course most of them are fish dishes. Very nice and courteous service. Highly Recommended!

We arrived early for our reservation and decided to get a drink at the Fischbude next door (which belongs to the restaurant). From the first second they were incredibly rude to us, which surprised me as there was no reason for them to do so. It escalated even further when we asked what was wrong, and when we came back to cancel our reservation we got shouted at and were told to leave as we were “Assi”. From a moral standpoint, I highly recommend to not visit this establishment.

After reading the comments, we got on the bikes. We have to honestly say, everything is at its best. Very nice, very tasty and fresh. We can only recommend the restaurant. In the evening we took plenty of fish with us. And look forward to an excellent meal.
